From January 28 to 30, 2025, the Kemiex team joined thousands of professionals in Atlanta, USA, for the International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE), one of the world’s leading events for the meat, poultry, and animal food industries.
Our team, including James Cahill, Jonathan Darnell, Sebastiano Semen, Sebastian Bigatti, Wilmer Casas, Stefan Schmidinger, Sandro Maag, Pau Franquet, and Oriol Saludes, was actively present throughout the event. We had the chance to meet partners, exchange ideas, and explore emerging trends shaping the future of the industry.
What Shaped IPPE 2025
This year’s discussions revolved around a few key themes:
- Automation and Technology – how robotics, data, and digital tools are driving efficiency and improving safety.
- Sustainability and Food Safety – growing efforts to lower environmental impact, strengthen biosecurity, and enhance traceability.
- Animal Health and Nutrition – innovation in feed additives, welfare standards, and nutrition research to meet both market and regulatory demands.
Many of the conversations touched on challenges we know well – market volatility, limited visibility, and the need for stronger connections across the supply chain. They reaffirmed our purpose at Kemiex – and reminded us how far we’ve come in turning those challenges into progress by helping companies trade with greater transparency, efficiency, and confidence.
