China 26 Ingredients Exports 1H 2026 - Market Update for feed and food

This Kemiex report covers 26 selected ingredients exported from China for feed, food, pharma and other industries, covering 1H 2026 vs 1H 2025 and analyzing trends.

Exports were broadly firmer, with 22 of the 26 tracked ingredients up year to date.

Vitamin AD3 (+162%) and Vitamin A (+66%, various forms) led the gainers, with Vitamin E (+52%) and Zinc Oxide (+50%) close behind. Monoammonium Phosphate (MAP) was the largest drop, down 56% YTD. Phosphoric Acids (-11%), Ibuprofen (-11%) and Vitamin C (-5%) were the only other decliners.

In absolute tonnage, Sodium Bicarbonates added the most volume YTD (+183’790mt), followed by Citric Acid (+59’787mt) and L-Lysine (+48’102mt). MAP’s decline remains the largest tonnage loss by a wide margin (-144’241mt), ahead of Phosphoric Acids (-51’413mt).

Momentum carried into the second quarter, with Vitamin E, Vitamin A, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B5, Vitamin B6, Aspartame, Inositol and Amoxicillin Trihydrate all posting record 2Q volumes at the world level.

Regionally, Southeast Asia posted the broadest set of 2Q records, led by L-Lysine, Sodium Bicarbonates and Monocalcium Phosphate (MCP), while East Asia’s standout records came from DL-Methionine and Citric Acid.

Vitamin E

In June 2026, Vitamin E exports from China were at ~12’805mt.

Year-to-date exports were ~70’151mt, +52% or +24’008mt above 2025. YTD exports to North America are 13’818mt (up +121% YoY), MEA at 3’474mt (up +89%), Eastern Europe at 2’498mt (up +85%), East Asia at 3’615mt (up +83%), Southeast Asia at 14’171mt (up +69%), Europe at 22’573mt (up +37%) and Latin America at 9’120mt (down -1%)

DL-Methionine

In June 2026, DL-Methionine exports from China were at ~24’842mt.

Year-to-date exports were ~184’290mt, +16% or +25’124mt above 2025. YTD exports to North America are 3’302mt (up +640% YoY), MEA at 21’562mt (up +103%), East Asia at 7’758mt (up +47%), Southeast Asia at 55’169mt (up +36%), Europe at 30’196mt (up +7%), Latin America at 43’665mt (up +1%) and Eastern Europe at 21’167mt (down -28%).

Zinc Oxide

In June 2026, Zinc Oxide exports from China were at ~1’912mt.

Year-to-date exports were ~10’743mt, +50% or +3’580mt above 2025. YTD exports to Eastern Europe are 355mt (up +85% YoY), Latin America at 1’178mt (up +82%), Southeast Asia at 6’059mt (up +60%), MEA at 2’187mt (up +50%), North America at 104mt (down -3%), East Asia at 839mt (down -8%) and Europe at 20mt (down -47%).
