Kemiex Featured in BILANZ

We’re pleased to announce that Kemiex has been featured in this month’s BILANZ Wirtschaftsmagazin. The article highlights our goal to become the “Bloomberg for the raw materials industry” by digitising global supply chains for raw materials in the human and animal nutrition and health industries.

Founded by former UBS banker, we saw a clear need for digital solutions in a market still heavily reliant on manual trading. With a focus on transforming data into actionable insights, we’ve built a strong foundation, maintaining profitability since 2022.

Our name, “Kemiex” (short for “Kemical Exchange”), reflects our commitment to consistent communication across languages. We’ve attracted significant clients like UBS, Nestlé, and BASF, thanks to our innovative approach.

The experts featured in the BILANZ article recognize the progress we’ve made but also emphasize the importance of expanding our market share, particularly in the United States. We are actively exploring opportunities for growth, including expansion into adjacent industries and the continued development of our B2B marketplace.

“I like Kemiex’s vision: to become the Bloomberg for raw materials and life sciences. For that to happen, the data quality has to be right. If that is the case, the company can make an important contribution to decision-making, and then the business model is also very scalable. This quality seems to be there, because Kemiex already has a good customer portfolio with recurring income. Companies like UBS, Nestlé or BASF are not easy for a young tech company to acquire. I also like the team, with around 35 employees, it is robustly positioned, not too big, not too small, and has enough industry specialists on board. The two founders are on the ball, confident and have a lot of perseverance. The company has done a lot of things right: It has good, committed investors.”

As we continue to innovate and expand, we remain focused on our mission to digitize global supply chains and transform data into actionable insights, helping our clients make informed decisions in an increasingly complex market.
