What we took away from VIV Europe 2026
Where the previous events on our calendar tend to skew regional, Utrecht felt noticeably international. We spoke with procurement teams from outside Europe comparing sourcing options across regions, and with suppliers trying to understand how their pricing looks against a global benchmark rather than just their home market.
A few things came up consistently across the three days:
More people are asking for a second data source, not to replace their existing supplier relationships, but to have an independent reference point when a quote looks off. That’s a straightforward Market Radar conversation, and one we’ve had at almost every event this year.
What was newer at VIV was how many people arrived already knowing the platform by name, either from a colleague, a LinkedIn post, or a previous event. The demos felt less like introductions and more like people picking up where they’d already started.
